Very slow to charge phone
I bought this charger to work with a N82 however am disappointed in its charging capability when compared to the charger that came with the phone. Basically this charger takes nearly 3hrs to charge the phone from flat, where as the charger that came with the phone only takes around 1hr.3

Replacement charger for my Nokia 6300
Ordered online Tue evening. Uncertain if delivered next day as collected from concierge Thu afternoon. Actual charger delivered is square and bears the nokia branding. Contrary to other reviews, it is without any charging light. It is NOT as depicted on amazon. One minor complaint is that the charger did not appear to be new. Works nonetheless, and my 6300 is (so far) successfully charging away. Fingers crossed.7

The genuine DC-4 is a decent bit of kit - well made and looks exactly like the item in the picture. What you receive is not even a close copy of the Nokia item. I refuse to plug it in and will be returning it due to complete misrepresentation.Frankly, do not even bother.

I'll never know....
....if this item is good or not as I found out after I bought it that it's only compatible with Windows. I really wish manufacturers would catch on to the fact that more and more people are using Apple Macs these days and it would be nice if they could make their products compatible with the Mac OS.10

I've only had the phone for a couple of weeks, but it's advanced features just keep on impressing. WiFi is really useful. The 5MP camera is much better than it has any right to be and is probably comprable to the dedicated 5MP cameras of about 18 months ago. The video camera is very usable, definately not HD but certainly good enough to use in an emergency when you don't have your camcorder to hand. The video and audio playback capabilities are excellent for watching your videos or listening to your MP3 collection in quiet moments.
The only down side to this phone is battery life, and everything you may have read is true. That said, considering what it does, charging it every couple of days is a small price to pay.
All in all, I can't recommend this phone enough, and if you have any doubts (as I did if I'm honest - £450 is a lot of money for a phone) don't, it's worth every penny.

A truly wonderful phone.
As the title says, the N95-8GB is a truly wonderful device. As a phone, it performs beautifully and is loud and clear enough for use in noisy environments. The phone book is very easy to use and, despite huge amounts of negative debate on numerous forums, it proved very easy to pair with my Garmin nuvi 760T by using Nokia's 810 Contact Downloader software.I've only had the phone for a couple of weeks, but it's advanced features just keep on impressing. Having had this model of charger supplied with my Nokia N95 phone I bought another to use as a spare charger in work. I prefer to use the original equipment to ensure the correct charging properties as if the wrong charger is used it can cause damage to your battery over time.The charger itself is formed from a solid resin block and is nicely compact unlike some others that I have, but is still robust enough not to be easily damaged when kept in a drawer etc.

This handsfree works brilliantly. It pairs easily, and is fairly loud. I use it in a van and car, and I would highly recommend it! I used several headsets before this, and got fed up of losing them, but this does a better job and has an excellent battery life!

Elegant, handy and well worth it
This case fits the phone like a glove - looks smart and protects the phone well - the only minor niggle is sometimes its tricky to get the phone out of the case if you've got your hands full - but thats why the phone stays in its case when its in your pocket with loose change and keys.....So I'd rather put up with momentary fumbling than have my phone scratched and bashed.

Then it actually arrived and I felt the cold winds of reality whistling around me. The on/off switch, tiny and awkward, the lock/unlock keyboard button awkward and what is wrong with"enter and *". The damn awful access slot for the micro sdhc card. The oh so thin and cheap rear cover. The rear stand to allow watching of videos etc, cheap and brittle.....
But then we come to the big stuff, control buttons are difficult to distinguish and unless illuminated some are unmarked, starting up and switching between functions is like watching tectonic plates move, that is when it does not lock up completely. Battery life is ABYSMAL. Transfering files to internal memory takes several hours.
Nokia have dropped the ball big time with this appalling effort. I have had a Nokia 6230 for around four years and I also had use of a Nokia 6301 and right now I would recommend either one over the N96.
