It arrived 12 hrs ago. I've been told to put it away for the night, coz I'm acting just like a kid with a new toy, trying to get to grips with all the fascinating new concepts, i.e. Face recognition, Panoramic, I could go on, but you must see for yourself.
I am going to enjoy photography much more than ever with my new acquisition. And so will you.

Absolutly Fabulous
For just over a year I have owned a digital cammera, that I considered to be the doggies danglers of digital cameras, apart from it not taking kindly to being used as a football by 5 healthy kittens.I therefore was having to buy a replacement, which happened to be out of stock, so, I decided to buy the Optio E50, in the same price bracket as my damaged model. Ideal for Flash Guns and Cameras
I use these for high power flash guns, portable DAB radio, digitial recording devices and anything that requires batteries to be virtually new for the equipment to work at it's best. The 'life' of the battery is not as good as a top one off the shelf but the re-charge speed is fast (an hour max) and the economics speak for itself. The only down-sides are the charger is pretty bulky if travelling, slower to charge on lower voltage through an adaptor(that is to be expected)and when not used they discharge quicker than normal. Have a few spare sets available to always keep going otherwise there is the hour wait.4

As far as shelf life is concerned, I've had my batteries a couple of years and recharged them hundreds of times, and they still seem to last as long as they ever did.
It's satisfying when you know you're re-using a battery rather than forking out quite a lot of money for top brand disposable batteries each time they run out. You'll get your money back after about 5 charges so it's one of the easiest decisions you'll have to make. There are no concerns regarding how long the charge lasts compared to conventional batteries - you won't notice much difference.

I have a set of these batteries for many uses about the house - the Wii remote, the flash for my digital SLR, sat nav, remotes and so on. 2500maH is a good amount of charge and it's worth getting at least this amount otherwise you might end up recharging more often than you want.As far as shelf life is concerned, I've had my batteries a couple of years and recharged them hundreds of times, and they still seem to last as long as they ever did.

Better than expected!

Considerable saving versus ordinary disposable batteries
These batteries represent a considerable saving versus ordinary disposable batteries as these should provide over 500 charges at a purchase cost of around £6 for 4. Disposable batteries are about £2.50 for 4 so over just 10 charges that's £19 saved (as the electricity to charge costs a fraction of a penny). Imagine the savings after 50 or 100 charges of batteries used in a wireless gamepad for example...Also rechargeable batteries last much much longer in high drain uses such as cameras and LED lights so overall are a great choice.
