I'm always getting lost so thought i would treat myself to one of these and i must say its the best thing i have ever done.
Its small compact and lightweight but the price got me down a little bit but thats where i have a solution

Buyers, beware of counterfeits

I ordered one of these SONY MSXM2GS 2GB Memory Stick(R) Pro Duo Memory Cards from Amazon. I didn't select a specific supplier, so Amazon defaulted to DigiplayUK as the supplier. Having bought a counterfeit memory stick in the past I'm very aware of how prevalent fakes are, so when my memory stick arrived I naturally subjected it to as many tests as possible to make sure it was genuine. Unfortunately it failed every test. I urge everyone who has bought what claims to be a genuine Sony brand memory stick to check it for authenticity. There is a guide on eBay which can show you how to do this (do a google search for 'ebay memory stick' and you should find it right away).

Compatability problems

I too have had compatability problems - does not work in my Canon Digital IXUS 750 - nor is it recogised on my laptop (Dell Ispiron 6400). So no use to me - I did not realise that you cannot have a 4GB std SD card - will put the card in a drawer and try it again when I have a device that recogises SDHC. Wish I had not been so greedy and had instead gone for the 2GB card.

Garmin Leather Case for Nuvi Widescreen

What can I say but simply the best item I have brought on on Amazon this year! ok I am a bit of an Amazon virgin, I have only brought six items off Amazon altogether.But, I am extremely fussy about anything I buy and believe me this case smells just like a new leather coat, fits my Garmin Nuvi 250W like a dream and is just quality all the way. If you need a leather case then don't waste your time looking else where!

Great little device!!

I bought the Garmin Forerunner 305 a couple of months ago and am loving it! Really great for motivation as it tells you distance, time, calories burnt etc. Can also set up an alarm that will go off if you're running too slow or your heart rate is too high. Brilliant!!! Feel lost going training without it now and would definitely recommend it. The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is because I sometimes have problems uploading the data to my computer (but when I delete the courses, everything seems OK) so don't know if this is a problem with the device or me doing something wrong! All in all, a well worthwhile buy.

Excellent value

As some other reviewers have pointed out, this is almost certainly not an"Official Apple" product. However, it is much (much!) better value for money, and is of perfectly good quality.

It might be worth buyers noting though that on the version I received, the iPhone connector doesn't just loosely pull out of the device in quite the same way that the Apple version does. Instead, the connector has subtle buttons on the sides of the connector, designed to be squeezed when it is pulled out.

Good for a Philips SA2840 MP3 player

Since I don't travel with a laptop, an alternative method for re-charging the player was an obvious need, and this item has proved to be ideal. Also thoroughly recommended for those who, like me, prefer not to leave the PC switched on simply to charge a battery via the USB connection.

Be very cautious...

I bought a screen protector using this link a few days ago. The"vendor" has already changed since then (there is not an option for this item to buy from Amazon you will note - it is for a Marketplace seller). In fact it was NOT a Proporta screen at all but a cheap Chinese-a-like which was a poor fit.

Vendor has refunded me without any argument. Just wanted future buyers to be aware that the product you will get using this page seems to be entirely random and you definitely can't count on it being Proporta as stated.

Creative Zen & Nokie N95

I got this as a power charger solution mainly for my Creative Zen Vision M 30gb. Like a lot of things, finding accessories for the creatives is difficult since the market is swamped with ipods and everything seems to be geared towards these.

The powermonkey comes with an adapter for the zen, but it doesnt work due to not enough pins being present so this leads me to believe that adapter is to charge an ipod.

The accessories do include one which fits the sync adapter of the creative zen vision M (the white thing you use to charge it from mains) so it does work - so for those with the same mp3 player as me - this will work for it, you just need to carry the adapter around as the flat adapter doesnt have enough pins.

the other adapters seem to fit everything else and it charges up my nokia n95 just fine. Quite a handy piece of kit to have - and it has more plug adapters than you can shake a stick at.

Total Recall

Needed a card reader to transfer images to an Sd card for viewing on my Wii.I took a gamble with this one as appossed to the more expensive Belkin product.The reason being that a reviewer stated they had problems with data transfer to larger memory cards, i.e.(1 or 2gigs).
I've experienced no such problems and no overheating worries either.
By the way,its 31p, or was, but the P&P alone is a fiver.

Indispensible accessory

Garmin eTrex H Handheld GPS Navigator
I bought one of the original eTrex devices about five years ago but the current model (eTrex H)is a completely different animal. The appearance is identical to the original, but that is where the similarities end.

Garmin have done a great job of removing all the problems with the original eTrex. It's now very responsive and usually takes less than a minute to find satellites from when you press the power switch. Accuracy is usually well within 10 metres even in normal mode (ie without WAAS). The signal is retained under tree canopies though I have not yet tested it in deep forests. Battery life is fine for a day on the hills though the claimed 17 hours seems optimistic. I plan to switch to NiMH 2500mAh batteries, this might give me a longer range.

Given the modest price this superb product is now selling for, nobody should be without one.

Fine piece of Kit

I have just got this from Amazon and I have to say its absolutely superb. I am quite new to running and with the warm summer months and the temptations of beer and bbqs my enthusiasm was starting to go South for the sport.
However I feel this gadget has salvaged matters. I think the key to the success of this is its simplicity, whilst like every piece of technology it has about a million functions, where this shines is that it does the basics very well.
Battery life is very good.
GPS is very good even in built up areas. (even got a signal walking around Tescos)
All seems very sturdy and water proof.

I think perhaps the best part of this however is the training log. I am using some software called"SportsTracks" and that is fantastic, it enables a 1 quick download straight from the 205 into the software and next thing you know you can look at your routes on Google Earth or just on the maps themselves, you can see where you were fast/ slow and compare routes.

Normally I buy gadgets get about 3 weeks use and then put it in a draw somewhere, however I sense this one will be different.
Bring on the The Great Eastern run!

I did toy with an adidas phone and the Nike plus thing and although I cannot comment on how good they are I am certainly more than happy with my Garmen! There are not many bad reviews for this devise and if you can hack not having a heart monitor and like the colour blue then you can save yourself about £50.
PS Amazon service was excellent as usual!

A top-notch high-speed USB Dongle (with decent drivers)

I bought this item for use mainly with Nokia PC Suite (on XP), to replace a previous model which had proved to be hopelessly unreliable. This one uses the Widcomm software, which installed without problems and works perfectly every time - unlike the dreadful IVT Bluesoleil stack of my previous dongle. Nokia claims compatability with Bluesoleil but I have had nothing but problems so even if the hardware appears identical I suggest avoiding anything using the Bluesoleil s/w.

I don't normally do reviews of products I've bought on t'Internet, but felt compelled to do so on this occasion, because I had slight reservations owing to some of the slightly discouraging reviews, especially the piece from someone about it being yank-centric. Have no fear though friends, this is an excellent bit of kit. I fully support the comments of the other 5* ratings - it's just hoofing! Switches from mode to mode at the touch of a button, and enables you to research the word/subject you're working on and retains it for each different mode. Easy to use as well - I haven't needed to consult the instructions yet...OK, I'm a bloke, so I shouldn't need to, but it is so straight forward, anyone could use it. It's so diverse and comprehensive too; I wonder whether I'll ever use it to its full capacity. I was going to ask for a hard copy Thesaurus and Crossword Solver for Christmas - I'll have to think of something else now. I would recommend this item to anyone, whether using it for crosswords, reference or amusement - It's just great. By the way, thanks to KK Electronics; fast delivery and best price. Hoofing!

Bigger is Better

I purchased this from Amazon for my wife for Christmas, so cannot say I have actually used it. What I would like to say is that the larger screen, the size of the keys and the layout of the keys, makes this a far superior product to the pocket example, that I do own myself. The size of the product is still a handy size, but even though it is not a great deal larger than the pocket size it is much easier to operate, particulary for those people with larger hands, or perhaps slight difficulties with stiffness in their hands. The information the dictionary provides is as good as anything on the market.

Navman S50 Satellite Navigation Unit With UK & Ireland Mapping
I bought this item back in April but really haven't had a chance to test it properly until last week when we went on holiday to Alnwick (from Aberdeen). Guided us perfectly there and back and also on trips to Holy Island, Bamburgh, Rothbury, The Metro Centre in Newcastle and to Durham with only one slight detour.
Recalculation of route is very fast and it has lots of nice features. Very pleased!

An excellent crossword solving tool and easy to use.

I would have only one slight quibble I would have preferred a slightly bigger keyboard as the letters are close together. Mind you as one that takes 20 minutes to send a short text I am not the best qualified typist anyway.
