Great speaker! the sound is good and crisp (nice with the new kings of leon albumn ;) ) very simple to set up and i was blown away at the quality of them. havnt stopped using them since they arrived. the spakers come with various adapters so they can fit any ipod or mp3 or they can be plugged into a laptop/pc with the cable provided. the romote worked exactly as it was supposed to so i dnt have to bother getting up to change the song and it charges at the same time !i have just bought two more of these as i know they will make amazing x-mas gifts.

What a great buy!
When I saw these on Amazon, I thought for 16 quid they must be quite naff. But then I read the reviews and saw that I could possibly be quids in with this buy, so I placed an order and they turned up a couple of days later. I am happy to say I am massively impressed with these!!! They are absolutely great value for money, top quality phones, for such a great price! They have the quality that you would expect from a £200 pair, for only 16 quid! Very happy man I am :)7

I already own the smaller STX model, which is great. I wanted another unit a bit bigger, so thought I would give this one a go.
Since I bought the STX in late 07, I have been checking the reviews as they have built up, I am pleased to see that others are sharing my enthusiasm for the overall sound quality and design, there are a few that are disappointed that it will not replace a 2K PA rig, hmmm. I can see dense people!
In general Klipsch seem to be building an excellent reputation in the UK for good quality at a price below the popular well known competitors. The Room Groove continues along the same lines in my opinion. Sounds great, looks good.
The wireless capability is a good idea, I don't own two units so cannot provide feed-back at this stage. I am sure I will at some stage in the near future.
If you want a quality Ipod speaker unit, look no further.

Pure? This is POOR!
I have owned many radios over my 43-year lifetime, and this is easily the worst. My POOR radio is going to the recycling bin - it has died after not even two years of poor quality service. The first thing that went was the DAB quality, then the digital radio stopped working, and now it won't even give me FM radio! In the end I had to reset it each time I switched it on! It's total rubbish. I was going to donate it to PURE so they can use it to learn how to make digital radios, but it's going to the great radio graveyard in the sky instead. I can't wait to see the back of it and buy a Dualit.10

Great for the communte
I bought this for my commute from Brighton to London and I find it perfect for the journey. Yes there is the occasional drop-out (in tunnels and also at some stations). Occasionally I'll need to switch it to FM where the DAB signal is weak, but for a vast majority of the journey it is absolutely fine, and the battery lasts ages, it is very light and the aluminum body gives me piece of mind that it won't be broken by being knocked about in my lap-top bag. Highly recommended.12

In case of emergency, buy these!
My ipod speaker would nt work whilst on a greek holiday and I needed an alternative. Managed to buy these without the benefit of reading reviews. I am impressed. Similar sound to the Altec im7 which had packed up (my fault) which is loud, bassy and clear. no tone adjustments but it did nt need any. Surprisingly good mid range, this can be a major problem on other 2.1 systems, but not here. Smuuggled it home in my suitcase and now it does a sterling job connected to my laptop. I really cant find fault with it and the quoted power outputs are at least truthful if not conservative.14

I had to send this back yesterday after having it for 2 weeks.I had to reset it 5 times within the first 2 days.It got 'stuck' playing a song 2 days ago whilst I was using it in the gym, I couldn't even turn it off or reset.Save yourself some money and time.

I bought this system in June. It worked fine and gave good sound. I was pleased with it for the money paid. Then in September the tuner stopped working. I contacted amazon by email on Friday and a replacement had been delivered the next day. Let's face it, things go wrong with these systems whatever the make. At least you can be confident that amazon will replace defective items.20

I bought this product as i was fed up of having no bass (or not very good) on my laptop speakers. I needed speakers with a sub woofer and they had to be good value for money. I love these speakers, they came before delivery estimated date and I love them. They are moreso great as you can change the level of bass you have coming from the sub woofer and are fantastic quality sound.Overall definately recommended product and it is fab!

one star is too much
A sleek looking speaker system that has style. However when it comes to the sound it failed miserably. I bought it on the strength of the good reviews. The sound was jarring and rattling with a very strong uncontrollable base note. I would have expected a sound like this from two cans and a string stretched between. I returned it promptly and am now looking for a speaker system that really delivers the goods.
