Great if you have lots of pockets to bung the HDD, remote and stuff the excess wires into ... not so good with a simple t-shirt.

Great Quality ... A bit awkward
Good kit ... Great sound quality, but it is a bit awkward to use ... On sound alone I would have given 5 stars, but the supplied headphones are a bit light weight ... literally ... the wires are flimsy and don't hang well ... I have just ordered a pair of Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia Headphones so I hope that will improve matters greatly.Great if you have lots of pockets to bung the HDD, remote and stuff the excess wires into ... not so good with a simple t-shirt.

What i wanted was a player that will play all my dvd+r's, maybe some mp3's.
I remembered seeing this model in a supermarket at around £60. I thought i was immagining things, so i popped out at 10pm to double check. Best thing i did, because it was £60.
I got home, connected it up and started testing my dvd+r's. Well it plays all (various makes)of them without any probs. Like the previous writer said the tray opens promptly and quietly and the whole thing starts fast aswell.
I would recommend it, and only time will tell if it really was a good buy.

what a pleasure
My old dvd player has been playing about when i play my dvd+r's. Sometimes it will play them and sometimes it wont. I got cheesed off and decided to buy a new one. very pleased
great styling and very light. the sound is good, even with the headphones supplied. ive used other cd players with higher volume but can't complain as the volume is more than acceptable. the bass boost is good and the sound is overall crisp and distortion free. it doesn't come supplied with any batteries or mains charger, but for the price thats fine as the sound quality is the main thing. would recommend.
